An internally displaced family waits to go back to their native villages leaving a camp for displaced at Manik Farm in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. The government has expedited resettlement of the displaced people in recent week and has already sent a bulk of the people to their villages or to live with their relatives and friends elsewhere. Kamal Gunaratne, a top army officer in charge of the region says there are only 87,000 people remaining to be resettled out of the 282,000 who arrived there soon after the war in May.(AP)
