The Sampath Bank last week announced the opening of a `Platinum Plus' branch at No. 18, Cambridge Place, Colombo-7, to give dedicated high end services to its top clients, the bank announced last week. These services are open to `Platinum Circle' members, Sampath said in a news release.

``The "Platinum Circle" is an exclusive membership offered by invitation of the bank to customers with a high net worth, which entitles them for top end, highly personalized banking services,'' it said. ``The customers can enjoy soft music, television or DVD movies, games and even refresh themselves with snacks, tea, coffee or fruit juice while getting their banking needs attended to by the highly professional staff at the branch.''

Ample parking facilities, on-line banking and 24 hour banking options are among what is on offer. The bank also offers to come to the doorstep of its Platinum Plus customers on request.

The branch is the 131st of Sampath Bank's electronically linked, island-wide network, and also the first premium branch of the bank. Other such branches in the provinces are planned for the future.
