At the wedding of Inoka the daughter of Seedevi and Azhar Razeen was married to Dhinal, the son of Manel and Nihal Perera at the Oak Room of the Cinnamon Grand Hotel according to customary poruwa rites. Everything from the decor to her bridal was in a tone of gold. Elegant was the backdrop to the bridal seat as was the entire theme all dreamed up by the bride and done to her instructions.

Inoka for her bridal wore a saree of gold tissue hand embroidered in ivory thread and gold, the blouse completely worked. Her jewellery was in rubies set on gold, and her veil was of an orange tint also cascading from behind. Her bouquet was of yellow tinted orchids interspersed with gold and green ivy leaves.

Her bridesmaids wore rust coloured sarees, as did her mother Seedevi whose saree was in embossed georgette picked out with a dazzle in silver, she wore with a shot blouse in the tamarind hue, with a pendent and stud earrings.

Once again there were galaxie of well dressed women to enhance the glamour of the occasion. The brides mother Seedevi made a touching speech at the end of which she had the guests on their feet applauding her improptu prowess.
