KANDY - The second phase of liberation of Sri Lanka under President Mahinda Rajapaksa would begin after January 26 with the victory to the President for a second term, said Tourism Minister, Achala Jagoda, opening the Kandy Centre for Tourism last Friday (01).

Minister Jaogda said that the setting up of the Kandy Centre of the Tourist Board, too, would contribute towards the success of the economic policy of the government led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

President Rajapaksa had paved the way for a new era after defeating the 30-year-old terrorism menace, the Miniser said.
