With the presidential polls just over a week away, there is a marked increase in hostilities with both sides accusing each other of corrupt practices in relation to their respective violence-marred campaigns in many parts of the country. Independent polls monitors have warned that the situation could further deteriorate due to failure on the part the law enforcement authorities.
