Japanese boost for grass-root level development
Financial irregularities in some projects revealed

Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and government agencies have received $ 25 million (approximately Rs. 2,850 million) through Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).

IGP claims his men removed over 10,000 kilos of polythene
The Inspector General of Police has informed the Commissioner of Elections that 10,290 kilos of polythene had been removed in the recent past while dismantling election related propaganda and other decorations.
