The West loses again
Western powers made a valiant but vain effort to defeat President Ahmadinejad in the Iranian presidential election. Their aim was to protect Israel. The UN stance on Iran was an evident contradiction of international law and an apparent meddling in Iran’s internal affairs.
The same group with little help from LTTE elements abroad, tried to topple President Rajapaksa but intelligent voters routed that sinister move.
Foreign media and some elements in Colombo waged a propaganda campaign against the country.
However, the agents of the West are not likely to give up so easily. They will try their best to make a comeback with vengeance as they did in Iran.
Sri Lankan people who are quite intelligent unlike their discarded politicians will have to be on their guard.
