

NCCSL deal set to boost Chinese trade
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Jilin Province Sub – Council of the People’s Republic of China at the NCCSL Secretariat.
C Lal De Alwis, the President of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka and Li Guo Hua, Vice President of the CCPIT Jilin Province Sub-Council signed the MOU on behalf of the two organizations.
The two organizations agreed to establish closer co-operation for mutual benefit and contribute in strengthening economic, technological, cultural and human relations between the two countries. Further, both parties have agreed to assist each other in finding potential partners in trade, economic, industrial, agricultural and technical co-operation. The agreement facilitates the NCCSL and the CCPIT to organise and participate in exhibitions, meetings and conferences, exchange of delegations, trade missions both import and export, bring business establishments in their regions in contact with each other. Li Guo Hua was accompanied by Liu Dali, Division Chief, Ms. Zhou Xiaoli, Project Officer from Jilin Sub-Council of CCPIT, Guan Dawei, President, Changchun Dazheng Pharmacy Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhang Baoquan, Vice General Manager, Jilin Provincial Yuanda Auto Selling Co, Ltd.
