Ambalangoda: Balapitiya district Judge, Mahinda Pinidiya sentenced Jagath de Silva of Migettuwatte, Balapitiya to six months rigorous imprisonment, suspended for ten years, when he was found guilty of entering the official residence of the Balapitiya Magistrate and smashing several windows. The damage has been estimated to be Rs. 2500.

For the first offence he was sentenced to three months RI, suspended for 5 years and for the second offence of destroying government property, he was sentenced to three months RI, suspended for five years.
