The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress was yet to decide its stand on contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections, said its general secretary Hassan Ali MP.

The party would reveal its position after Sunday, he said.

Party stalwarts were due to meet in Batticaloa on Sunday and a decision would be taken there, he said.

The number of candidates to contest on the SLMC ticket and the districts from where they would contest would be decided on Sunday, he added.
