In spite of being harassed from all sides the Commissioner of Elections Dayananda Dissanayake came out with flying colours as a neutral Civil Servant.

Even in Great Britain, the mother of democracy, the Civil Service was politicised by Tony Blair.

Well done Commissioner, keep up the good work.  Believe me, we need people like you, at this juncture.
