Upali Founder remembered
A number of religious and social activities and blood donation campaigns were conducted to Mark the 27 anniversary of the disappearance of Upali Wijewardene, the Founder Chairman of the Upali Group on Saturday (13). A Bodhi Pooja was held at the Kelani Raja Maha Viharaya on Saturday evening, attended by Mr. Nimal Welgama, Managing Director, Upali Group of Companies and Mrs. Lakmani Welgama, Chairperson, Upali Newspapers Ltd.
