About 22 houses set up at Bibilewela for Ruhunugama homeless people still remain unoccupied for unknown reasons.

This housing complex was set up in 1991 to mark the Gamudawa of late President Ranasinghe Premadasa.

About 120 acres at Ruhunugama now remain isolated overgrown with shrub jungle.
