Maris Stella cruise to 165 run win

Off-spinner Shanuka de Silva picked up six wickets to skittle out Holy Cross College for 113 runs in the second innings for Maris Stella College to cruise to a 165 run victory in their Under-19 tournament match ended at Free Trade Zone Ground yesterday.

Richmond in innings win

An unbeaten 155 and a four wicket haul in the first innings from all- rounder Dananjaya de Silva was the highlight as Richmond College scored an innings and 50 run victory over St. Aloysius College in their Under-19 match ended at Galle yesterday.

Paceman Rangana Cooray and skipper Dinuk Jayasinghe shared nine wickets between them for Nalanda College to restrict S. Thomas’ College to 167 runs on the first day of their Under-19 tournament match started at Campbell Place yesterday.

Nalanda were 151 for six wickets at close.
