110th Battle of the Blues of Matara


St. Thomas’ skipper Kasun Attanayake and Hashan Ranasinghe shared four wickets between them to restrict St. Servatius’ College for 116 for five wickets in their 1st innings at the end of second day play in their annual Big Match - the 110th Battle of the Blues encounter at Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara yesterday.
Resuming from their overnight total of 186 for 6, St. Thomas’ College were bowled out for 220 in the morning session.
Gihan Nimsara was unbeaten on 45 runs. St. Servatius were trailing by 104 runs with five wickets in hand.
