Mahanama in strong position 4th Battle of Golds

Duleeka Thissakuttige and Danushka Gunathilaka shared a vital partnership worth 140 runs for third wicket to guide Mahanama College, Colombo to a strong position at the end of the first day of their 4th Battle of Golds played against D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo at SSC Grounds, yesterday.

Mahanama College batted first and declared on 285 for seven and in reply D.S. Senanayake College were 31 for no loss at the end of days’ play.

For his century, Thissakuttige faced 206 balls and hit ten boundaries while Gunathilaka scored 79 runs.
