Business Editor of ‘The Island’ Brian Tissera passed away last morning. He was 62.

Before joining The Island in 2003, Brian had worked with the ‘Weekend Express’ and the ‘Daily Mirror’.

His funeral will take place on Wednesday (28), at the General Cemetery Kanatte.

His remains will lie at the Jayaratne Funeral Parlour in Borella from 10.00 a.m. today till 10.00 a.m. tomorrow.

He leaves his wife and four children.
