The Dehiwela YMBA has arranged to release over one hundred head of cattle to mark Poson full moon Poya which falls on June 25.

Last year, too, several head of cattle brought from the Colombo slaughter house were released at YMBA premises in Dehiwela to deserving dairy farmers who would look after these poor animals.

The Dehiwela YMBA calls upon those interested in this meritorious act to contribute whatever money they could to the Dehiwela YMBA to buy as many animals as possible from the slaughter house.
