An attempt by the self-styled Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) to enter the University of Jaffna failed on Saturday as it ran into stiff resistance from the university administration and a section of students. Some security forces personnel said IUSF members had come under an attack, a claim denied by the IUSF.
