Job Fair at Rajarata University with 45 companies

Looking to fill over 100 vacancies initially

The Young Members Forum of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ‘Job and an Entrepreneurship Fair’ titled ‘Careerlead’ at the Rajarata University on the 10th and 11th of this month. Forty five companies are expected to take part in this programme as potential recruiters, Mangala P. B. Yapa - Secretary General / CEO of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) told the media at the CCC auditorium yesterday.


The participating companies are looking to fill over 100 vacancies at present across a number of sectors, and more job openings could be made available in the time to come.


The event is conducted in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit of the Rajarata University.


The International Labor Organization, South Asia Gateway Terminals, Peoples’ Bank, NDB, Dialog, Rexona, Sunshine Health Care, Hayley’s Group, CIC and Royal Holidays are the sponsors of the event.


Prof. Ranjith Wijayawardana-Vice Chancellor-Rajarata University, Ms.Gillian Nugara President-Young Members Forum of the Ceylon Chamber, Dr. Sanjeewanie Ginigaddara-Director/Career Guidance Unit-Rajarata University of Sri Lanka also addressed the media at this event.
