GCE O/L results out today

The results of the GCE Ordinary Level examination, held last December, would be released this evening, Examinations Commissioner General Anura Edrisinghe said yesterday. Over 500,000 candidates sat the examination and of them around 300,000 were school candidates.

The results would be accessible via the Examinations Department website www.doenets.lk from tomorrow afternoon. When compared to previous years, this year’s results had been released three weeks ahead of the schedule, Edirisinghe said.
