Ramanna Chapter Maha Nayake blesses SF

Ramanna Nikaya Maha Nayake Most Ven. Weweldeniye Medhalankara thera yesterday told former Army Commander Gen Sarath Fonseka, who paid a courtesy call on the prelate, that men like him were needed by the country but he should act cautiously.

When something good was being done there were always obstacles, the Prelate told the General.

The Nayake Thera blessed Gen. Fonseka.

Gen Fonseka addressing a gathering at the Sasanawardana Pirivena in Mirigama, called for people’s support to make his mission to make a better Sri Lanka a success.

Parliamentarians Karu Jayasuriya, Palitha Range Bandara and Jayantha Ketagoda were present along with Gamini Amaratunge, Gamini Tennekoon, Dhammika Attanayake and D. M. Dissanayake.
