Navy rugby team attracts three sponsors for 2012 season

Navy Sports Club will be sponsored during the SLRFU conducted rugby tournaments this season by Frontier Automotive, Airtel and Kandy Selection, a release from the Sri Lanka Navy states. The official sponsorship documents and token presentations were handed over by the sponsors to Navy Sports Club officials at a press briefing held at Vilthera Recreation Hall at SLNS Gemunu in Welisara on Friday. The Navy team is captained by Lieutenant Yoshitha Rajapaksha and coached by Ronnie Ibrahim. Director General Operations Rear Admiral Jayantha Perera is senior Coordinator Navy Rugby while Commodore Dushyantha Amaranayake functions as chairman.
