President’s College, Kotte Founder principal passes away

Mrs Soma Munindradasa, the founder principal of President’s College, Kotte passed away. She assumed office as the principal in 1978 with the opening of the school by the then President JR Jayewardene. She was at the helm till 1984. Her remains will lie at the President’s College auditorium on Thursday from 1.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Cortege leaves the school at 4.30 p.m for cremation at the General cemetery Borella.

All past pupils and parents are requested to assemble at the school to pay homage to the late Principal.
