Jumbo and baby rescued from well

Wild Life Department officials at Galgiriyagama Saturday morning rescued an elephant and her baby who had fallen into an agricultural well at Kalagama. Area residents say they had been part of a herd that broke down the electric fence and came to feast on paddy fields.
