The spokesman said that Biomedical Informatics of the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine and the Informatics Unit of National Health Sciences Institute also provided assistance for the development of the software. The NOMA project of the Post Graduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) which focused on forming computer savvy doctors in the field of medicine provided Rs. 1.6 million for the completion of the software programme.

He said that the maintenance of the software would cost approximately four million rupees per year.
